Our planter

We developed a tool in 2014 to make planting in lava easier.

When planting a prairie garden, you can use a mulch layer of 7 cm of lava.

Lava makes maintenance easier, provides an insulating layer in winter and prevents soil compaction from treading on the prairie.

The planter speeds up the pace of planting considerably, especially for larger areas.

Previously, you could only spread the lava between the plants after planting, where now with the planter you can very quickly plant the plants in the right place without soil or lava getting mixed together.

No lava? Even then, our planter is a handy way to quickly plant P9 plants from our nursery.

Important:

- The planter can only be used for pot size P9, like we sell in our nursery. Larger or smaller sizes will not fit into the opening and therefore will not be at the correct planting depth in the soil.

- Before planting, the soil should always be prepared. Proper rooting of the plants is only possible if the soil is sufficiently airy. So make sure the soil is loose and that all necessary adjustments to the soil have already been made.

- If you want to rent or buy the planter, this should always be done in combination with an order of perennials.

- Our planter cannot be shipped, only collected at the nursery.
